By using Project Milan, you agree to follow these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Project Milan. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you will follow all applicable laws of Nepal and your local jurisdiction.

2. User Conduct

You are responsible for your interactions. We prohibit harassment, hate speech, nudity, or fraudulent behavior. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community guidelines or negatively impact the 'Karma' of our community.

3. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

Project Milan is intended solely to help adults build genuine and respectful relationships. The platform is not intended for, and must not be used for, nudity, sexually explicit conduct, sexual solicitation, prostitution, escort services, or any other commercial sexual activity. You agree not to create, upload, share, transmit, or request nude, pornographic, or sexually explicit content through your profile, photos, messages, or any other feature of the service. Any violation of this policy may result in the immediate removal of content, suspension of your account, and a permanent ban from the platform, and where appropriate, may be reported to the relevant authorities.

4. Communications

By entering your mobile number, you will receive a one-time SMS message with a verification code to complete your registration or login. Message and data rates may apply. This is for authentication purposes only. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We will not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages via SMS. By providing your email, you consent to receiving transactional emails related to your account. Product news and updates are only sent if you opt in through your account settings, and you may opt out at any time.

5. Your Content and License

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you create and share on Project Milan ('Your Content'). By posting Your Content, you grant Project Milan a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations. You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to share it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Project Milan name, logo, software, design, and all related materials are the property of Project Milan and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our prior written permission.

7. Reporting and Content Removal

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, you can report it through the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us at support@projectmilan.net. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, remove, or restrict any content or account that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or engage in conduct that harms the community. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by requesting deletion. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately, although certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers and No Background Checks

Project Milan is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Beyond the verification tools described in the app, we do not conduct criminal background checks on users, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and should always exercise caution and good judgment, especially when meeting someone in person.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Milan and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or your interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Project Milan and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

12. Service Availability and Changes

We are continually improving Project Milan and may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We may also limit or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, without liability to you. Where appropriate, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you have a concern or dispute, we ask that you first contact us at support@projectmilan.net so that we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the 'Last Updated' date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of Project Milan after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
