Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Project Milan account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to delete your account from within the app, and how to request deletion if you can no longer access it.
1. Delete From Within the App
The quickest way to delete your account is directly in the Milan app. Open the app and sign in, go to Settings, tap 'Delete Account', and confirm your choice. Your account is immediately deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion. You have a 7-day grace period during which you can sign back in to cancel the request. After 7 days, your account and associated data are permanently removed.
2. What Gets Deleted
When the deletion is finalized, we permanently remove the personal data associated with your account from our active systems. This includes your profile information, photos, matches, conversations, name, email address, phone number, and any identity-verification images.
3. Data We May Retain
We may retain a limited amount of information where it is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms of Service. Any such data is kept only for as long as necessary and is then deleted. Identity-verification images are typically deleted within 30 days of verification.
4. Request Deletion Without the App
If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in, you can still request deletion of your account and associated data. Email us at support@projectmilan.net from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line 'Delete My Account'. We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
