Community Guidelines

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

Milan, including Chautari communities, is a place to build genuine, respectful connections through dating, friendship, and community. These Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone on Milan. They apply everywhere on the platform: your profile, your messages, and the communities you create, join, and post in. Breaking them can lead to content removal, loss of access to communities, or suspension of your account. They work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Be Respectful

Treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, and discrimination based on identity have no place on Milan, in messages, on profiles, or in community posts and comments.

2. Be Real

Use your own clear photos and accurate information. Don't impersonate other people, communities, or organizations, and don't create misleading community names, descriptions, or imagery.

3. Keep It Clean

No nudity, sexually explicit content, sexual solicitation, or content promoting prostitution or escort services, anywhere, including community posts and photos. Milan is not intended for these purposes.

4. No Spam or Scams

Don't post spam, repetitive or off-topic content, or promotional material where it isn't welcome. Never attempt to defraud, phish, or solicit money from other members.

5. Keep It Legal and Safe

Don't post illegal content or use Milan to organize or promote anything illegal or harmful. Content that sexualizes minors is strictly prohibited and reported to the relevant authorities, see our Child Safety Standards.

6. Respect Communities (Chautari)

Each Chautari may set its own rules, follow them. Post on-topic, respect a community's owners and moderators, and remember that in public communities your posts may be visible to anyone on Milan. If you run a community, moderate it fairly and keep it free of prohibited content.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, report it using the in-app tools or email support@projectmilan.net. We review reports and may remove content, remove members, take down communities, or suspend or permanently ban accounts. Where necessary, we may preserve records and cooperate with law enforcement.
