Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: July 12, 2026

Milan is committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. Milan is a dating application intended solely for adults aged 18 and older, and we have zero tolerance for any content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. This page sets out Milan's standards against CSAE and explains how to report concerns.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Milan maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any account involved in creating, sharing, requesting, or facilitating such content or conduct is immediately removed and reported to the appropriate authorities. We use the term CSAE to include, without limitation, the grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any other sexualization of a minor. CSAM refers to any content that depicts or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.

2. Adults Only (18+)

Milan is exclusively for adults aged 18 years or older. Users must confirm they meet this age requirement, and anyone under 18 is prohibited from creating an account or using the service. Milan is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that an account belongs to a minor, we will remove it.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Milan: (a) any child sexual abuse material (CSAM); (b) the grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of a minor; (c) attempting to arrange or facilitate contact with a minor for sexual purposes; (d) sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE material; and (e) creating a profile that impersonates or depicts a minor. These prohibitions apply to every part of the service, including profiles, photos, messages, and any other user-generated content.

4. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Every user can report content or behavior that violates these standards directly within the app using the in-app reporting and blocking tools, or by contacting us at support@projectmilan.net. Reports related to child safety are treated as our highest priority. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please also contact your local law enforcement.

5. How We Respond

When we identify or receive a report of CSAE, we act promptly to remove the offending content, suspend and permanently ban the responsible account(s), preserve relevant evidence, and report confirmed cases to the appropriate authorities. This includes reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement in Nepal and other applicable jurisdictions.

6. Compliance with Laws

Milan complies with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including the laws of Nepal, and cooperates with law enforcement and recognized child-protection organizations in the investigation of child sexual abuse and exploitation.

7. Point of Contact

For questions about Milan's child safety standards, or to report a child safety concern, you can reach Milan's Trust & Safety point of contact at support@projectmilan.net. We are committed to reviewing and responding to child safety reports promptly.
